William Clair Burge, son of James Henry Burge and Mary Jane McCullough, was born April 29, 1898 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Jan. 4, 1951 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. He married 1) Nellie Helena Dahna Aug. 29, 1920 in Emmett Co., Iowa and 2) Alma Elveretta Burkart in 1927.
