Walter Norton Scott, son of Nelson Cornelious Scott and Laura Combs, was born Aug. 5, 1889 north of Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Dec. 10, 1973 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Susan Viola Knott Oct. 17, 1906 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
