Dorothy Mae Symonds, daughter of Henry Matthew Symonds and Ida Mae Walker, was born Feb. 8, 1917 in Carl, Adams Co., Iowa and died Oct. 27, 2010 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Leland Allie Hegwood May 1, 1944 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa. He was born May 21, 1913 in Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Alla Hegwood and Marion Josephine Gordon, and died Feb. 7, 1992 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
