Robert Cree, son of Robert Cree and Eleanor Barclay or Barkley, was born Feb. 29, 1826 in Warren Co., Ohio and died Feb. 14, 1909 near Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Elizabeth Piper Feb. 20, 1862 in Henry Co., Illinois. She was born July 26, 1834 in Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, daughter of Daniel Piper and Anna Blair, and died Nov, 25, 1911 near Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa.
