Jacob Henry Ambrose, son of Jacob Ambrose and Phebe Ann Adair, was born Aug. 16, 1857 in Mason City, Mason Co., Illinois and died July 3, 1908 in Nooksack, Whatcom Co., Washington. He married Nancy Almeda Fleming Seibert Sept. 12, 1886 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa.
