George Henry Bell, son of Robert Bell and Lydia Davis,was born Feb. 14,1845 near Petersburg, Menard Co., Illinois and died July 14, 1916 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Ellen Abernathy in 1874 in Shelby Co., Iowa.
She was born June 25, 1856 in Putnam Co., Missouri, daughter of Kellam Abernathy and Elizabeth Ann Penner, and died Sept. 2, 1925 near Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
