Charles Webster Baxter, son of George Alfred Baxter and Mary Ann Fellows, was born Oct. 28, 1853 near Muscatine, Muscatine Co., Iowa and died July 7, 1924 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Frances Shellabarger Jan. 22, 1874 in Muscatine Co., Iowa. His obituary gives his death date as 1852.
