Elizabeth Alice Nelson, daughter of Robert Nelson and Nancy Anna Johnson, was born in Sept. 1849 in Illinois and died Feb. 13, 1934 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Caleb F. Slack Aug. 11, 1869 in Henry Co., Illinois.
