William Gregory Blair, son of William Blair and Elizabeth Wright, was born April 2, 1844 in Knox Co., Illinois and died Feb. 17, 1918 near Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Amanda Hanna Mar. 3, 1887 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Nov. 22, 1863 in Guernsey Co., Ohio, daughter of Fernando Hanna and Sarah Woodburn, and died Mar. 14, 1955 in St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.
