Alice May Whitecotton, daughter of Marion Francis Whitecotton and Sarah Wolfe, was born Sept. 2, 1869 near Bushville in north Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 13, 1959 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married Simeon Bryan Beemer, Sr. Mar. 24, 1886 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born April 13, 1866 near Compton, Lee Co., Illinois, son of Judson Beemer and Esther Ann Miller, and died Oct. 20, 1943 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
