Clara Miriam Draper, daughter of Samuel Vernon Draper and Sarah Ann Gilson, was born Mar. 24, 1861 near West Union, Fayette Co., Iowa and died Dec. 27, 1948 in Grimes, Polk Co. Iowa. She married Robert Randolph Allen Dec. 9, 1881 at Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa.
