Mary Elfina Joneson, daughter of Eric Joneson and Matilda Johanna Skalberg, was born Jan. 18, 1878 in Creston, Union Co., Iowa and died Feb. 22, 1961 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri. She married Washington Frank Bicknell July 6, 1898 at Creston, Union Co., Iowa. He was born Feb. 20, 1873 in Alexis, Warren Co., Illinois, son of Thomas Bicknell and Catherine Shaffer, and died Feb. 9, 1970 in Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri.
