William H. Stevens, son of Benjamin Stevens and Nancy Brumet, was born July 25, 1866 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana and died July 30, 1941 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Laura Bell Green April 27, 1893 at Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Feb. 5, 1867 near Morning Sun, Louisa Co., Iowa, daughter of Edwin Putnam Green and Elenor Swan, and died Jan. 2, 1947 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa.
