Thomas Wesley Bucher, son of Christopher Bucher and Hannah Wells, was born April 29, 1840 in Harrison Co., Ohio and died Jan. 21, 1914 in Prairie Grove, Washington Co., Arkansas. He enlisted in Co. A, 120th Ohio Infantry Regiment Oct. 15, 1862 and was mustered out Jan. 12, 1965 at New Albany, Indiana. Source: Official Roster of the Soldiers of the State of Ohio.
