Ora Edgar Nelson, son of Joshua E. Nelson and Camelia Jane Kern, was born April 4, 1873 at Terre Haute, Vigo Co., Indiana and died July 9, 1941 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Jessie May Adams Feb. 1, 1895 in Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Anna Hunt July 13, 1923. Jessie May Adams, daughter of William Henry Adams and Catherine Blakely, was born July 8, 1875 in Washington Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa and died June 23, 1899 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. Their sons Gail and Claude share the stone with them. Gail A. Nelson, was born Nov. 12, 1897 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 14, 1901 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. Source of death date: Obituary published in Gravity Independent, Feb. 21, 1901. Claude Irwin Nelson was born Mar. 1, 1896 south of Gravity and died Oct. 20, 1937 in Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa.
