Francena Ethel Meredith, daughter of Edwin Wallace Meredith and Serena Malhala Richardson, was born April 24, 1885 north of Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Oct. 1, 1962 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married Franklin Lewis Houchin Mar. 2, 1904 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Sept. 26, 1879 in Montgomery Co., Iowa, son of James Warren Houchin and Mary Elizabeth Kinsolving, and died July 19, 1942 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
