Joshua E. Nelson, son of Burgess Nelson and Nancy Ann Kimball, was born April 10,1842 in Illinois and died April 24, 1917 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Camelia Jane Kern Dec. 24, 1870 in Henderson Co., Illinois. She was born May 14 1848 in Monroe Co., Indiana, daughter of Adam and Martha Kern, and died Aug. 14, 1942 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
