Elizabeth Ridenour, daughter of John S. Ridenour and Sarah Bechtel or Beightel, was born Feb. 14, 1837 in Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania and died Sept. 14, 1911 in Washington Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Robert Boyse Jewell Sept. 12, 1861 at Woodhull, Henry Co., Illinois.
