Dovie Delbert Pullen, son of Albert Pullen and Margory White, was born Dec. 15, 1897 in Page Co., Iowa and died Oct. 4,1918 on board ship enroute to France. He was buried in St. Nazaire, France. The remains were later returned and reburied Oct. 3, 1920 in Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.He married 1) Lottie Secord in 1915 and 2) Flossie Knott June 3, 1918.
