Lois Ioma Gillette, daughter of George Mars Gillette and Ada Lauretta Cree, was born Nov. 7, 1921 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 9, 1965 near Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married James Willard Ferris Jan. 11, 1942 at Sharpsburg, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Sept. 3, 1916 in Talmadge, Union Co., Iowa, son of William Ferris and Mary Reed, and died Aug. 10, 1995 in Mount Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa. He married Frances J. Hammers Aug. 16, 1966 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
