Maggie Jane Meredith, daughter of Edwin Wallace Meredith and Serena Mahala Richardson, was born Aug. 8, 1893 in Holt Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa and died Nov. 19, 1960 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Ralph John McPherren Mar. 13, 1912 in Holt Twp., Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born Sept. 16, 1889 in Brooks, Adams Co., Iowa, son of John Heslop McPherren and Margaret Ann Shearer, and died April 7, 1968 north of Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Jessie Acha Feb. 8, 1962 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
