Hazel Lea Akers,daughter of Oscar Akers and Cora Mae Brand, was born Mar. 17, 1908 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 1, 2001 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Nathan Carl Sexton May 24, 1926 at Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. He was born Aug. 16, 1900 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Nathan Isaac Sexton and Elsie Mae Laird, and died Feb. 20, 1975 in Lenox, Taylor Co., Iowa.
