Oscar McKune, son of William Thomas McKune and Mary Ruby, was born Feb. 7, 1875 near Mount Ayr, Ringgold Co., Iowa and died Dec. 23, 1953 in Fort Collins, Larimer Co., Colorado. He married Rachel Ann Garrett Feb. 9, 1897 at Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. Iowa, Marriages gives the marriage date as Feb. 9, 1898.
