Martha Jane Elliott, daughter of James HIckland Elliott and Julia Emaline Hicks, was born in Oct. 1841 in Owen Co., Indiana and died April 28, 1907 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married 1) Stephen West, Aug. 24, 1858 at Prairie City, Jasper Co., Iowa; 2) David Moody Jan. 11, 1866 in Jasper Co., Iowa and 3) George D. Creighton July 5, 1892 at Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. They divorced in Jan. 1896.
