Kennard Karl Dunkin, son of Fredrick Robert Dunkin and Glendora Herriman, was born May 2, 1907 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died July 7, 1955 east of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Halcyon Dunkel July 15, 1930 at Albany, Gentry Co., Missouri; 2) Florence Lucille Whitehorn in Oct. 1935. They divorced in Aug. 1952. His 3rd marriage was to Bessie Mae Johnson Coffman Dec. 15, 1952. Bessie Mae Johnson Coffman was born May 6, 1910 in Kansas, daughter of John Henry Johnson and Jennie Quillan, and died Sept. 24, 1989 in Union Co., Iowa. Although her name is inscribed on this headstone she is buried with her 3rd husband, Leo Nicholas Trenkle, in Graceland Cemetery, Creston, Union Co., Iowa.
