Olive R. Avery, daughter of Josiah and Ruhamah Avery, was born Oct. 13, 1823 in Vermont and died Oct. 23, 1895 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Hyman Madison Howard Nov. 16, 1848 in Ashtabula Co., Ohio.
