John D. Moore was born June 16, 1861 in West Grove, Davis Co., Iowa, son of Edward William Moore and Emmaretta Ogden, and died April 6, 1940 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married 1) Addie Mildred Marshall July 3, 1883 in Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Mary Elizabeth Clouse Hunt July 3, 1900. Addie Mildred Marshall, daughter of William Marshall and Amanda Burr, was born Nov. 30, 1862 in Fulton Co., Illinois and died Mar. 23, 1899 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
