Susan Emily Irwin was born Aug. 7, 1867 in Warren, Joe Daviess Co., Illinois, daughter of Thomas Irwin and Margaret Ann Hargin, and died Sept. 9, 1944 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married 1) George J. Pepler Mar. 23,1885 at Corning, Adams Co., Iowa and 2) Winfield Riley Richardson Nov. 25, 1894 in Taylor Co., Iowa. Winfield Riley Richardson, son of Silas Webster Richardson and Catherine Storm, was born Oct. 17, 1852 in Muscatine, Muscatine Co., Iowa and died Aug. 25, 1948 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa.
