Helen Mae Burke, daughter of Fred Allen Burke and Ellen Nora Marshall, was born April 13, 1888 near Plattsmouth, Cass Co., Nebraska and died Jan. 9, 1930 in Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Frank Garrett April 12, 1905 at Corning, Adams Co., Iowa.
