Elizabeth Gertrude Batley, daughter of George Batley, was born Mar. 20, 1833 in Warren Co., New Jersey and died Oct. 14, 1900 in Ringgold Co., Iowa. She married John Isaac Newton Jan. 24, 1854 at Warrensville, Warren Co., New Jersey.
