Frank Lester Baeyhul was born Dec 3, 1870 to Theodore Baeyhul and wife in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Frank was adopted by Judson and Margaret Ann Bowen May 23, 1871 soon after the death of his mother. He married Margaret Caroline Jackson, daughter of Permelia Bowen and Andrew Ralph Jackson. Frank died of a heart attack on July 18, 1928, on his farm in Humboldt County, Iowa.
