Henry Bracken Boyd, son of Nicholas Boyd and Rachel Bracken, was born Nov. 5, 1824 in Hartford Co., Maryland and died Nov. 8, 1906 in Creston, Union Co., Iowa. He married Mary Ann Shank Aug. 6, 1846 in Pennsylvania. She was born Jan 28, 1827 in Marietta, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, daughter of John and Mary Shank, and died Jan. 13, 1899 in Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa.
