David Leroy Matthews and Martha Elizabeth Matthews were the children of William Frederick Matthews and Margaret Douglas. David Leroy Matthews was born Sept. 2, 1924 in Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania and died Nov. 21, 2013 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. His sister, Martha Elizabeth Matthews, was born Sept. 23, 1920 in Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania and died Nov. 14, 2011 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
