Grace Nellie Swearingen, daughter of Daniel David Swearingen and Nancy Ann Fife, was born Mar. 30, 1883 near Truro, Madison Co., Iowa and died Feb. 25, 1985 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. She married 1) Fred E. Young Nov. 1, 1902 in Madison Co., Iowa; 2) Frank Oliver Rankin Sept. 26, 1906 at Des Moines, Polk Co., Iowa and 3) Willard H. Smith Feb. 11, 1962 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. Frank Oliver Rankin was born July 28, 1879 near Brunswick, Chariton Co., Missouri, son of Benona Robert Rankin and Alverda Florence Likens,and died Oct. 12 1954 in Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. He married his 1st wife, Ida Elizabeth Heacock Aug. 9, 1899 in Madison Co., Iowa.
