Minnie LaVerta Steele, daughter of Leonard Steele and Susan Pulse, was born June 10 1875 in Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois and died June 4, 1965 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married John Merenus Waterman Mar. 21, 1894 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born July 24, 1872 in Jackson Twp., southeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Joseph Manley Waterman and Margaret Ann Van Reenen, and died Dec. 4, 1960 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
