Marion Alvin Mahan was born Jan. 11, 1891 in Toledo, Ozark Co., Missouri and died Sept. 1, 1973 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Evey Gertrude Brake Mar. 19, 1916 at McClurg, Taney Co., Missouri. She was born Aug. 25, 1899 at Brown Branch, Taney Co., Missouri, daughter of Arthur and Aminta Brake, and died Aug. 5, 1989 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.
