Helen Ruth Damewood, daughter of Stanley Damewood and Donna Lillian Jobe, was born Nov. 12, 1923 in Siam, Taylor Co., Iowa and died April 23, 2010 in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie Co., Iowa. She married Roy Dwight Newkirk Oct. 9, 1942 at Maryville, Nodaway Co., Missouri. He was born Feb. 24, 1922 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, son of Garrett Roy Newkirk and Flossie Pearl Thompson, and died Oct. 27, 2006 in Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa.
