Mary Lovina Allen, daughter of William B. Allen and Martha Charlotte Besco, was born July 15,1884 east of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa and died May 1, 1961 east of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Homer Vance Avey April 21, 1909 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He was born May 25, 1881, son of James Allen Avey and Mary Jane Thompson, and died Mar. 18, 1960 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa.
