Donald Eugene Wood, son of Preston Dexter Wood and Minnie Alice Cochran, was born Dec. 25, 1905 near Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa and died May 2, 1984 in Corning, Adams Co., Iowa. He married Muriel Hazel Patton Dec. 14, 1925 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. She was born June 6, 1908 in Pennington Gap, Lee Co., Virginia, daughter of William Orin Patton and Pollie Cope, and died Aug. 12, 1991 in Bedford, Taylor Co.,Iowa.
