Gordon Herald Cox, son of John Gilbert Cox and Lola Karene Fry, was born Jan. 20, 1927 near Gravity, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Feb. 29, 1984 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska. He married Dolores Orleen Gilbert Jan. 12, 1950 at Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa. She was born Feb. 18, 1931 near Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa, daughter of Raymond Lee Gilbert and Florence Alice Townsend, and died Aug. 13, 1999 in Taylor Co., Iowa.
