Phillip Edgar Mincks, son of Hiram Minor Mincks and Nancy Ann Spooner, was born July 2, 1886 near Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa and died Sept. 18, 1965 in Omaha, Douglas Co., Nebraska. He married Lillie Dale Starkey Kniepe Aug. 18, 1923.
