John Fredrick Jones, son of Elias William Jones and Ruth Cresap Singleton, was born Sept. 20, 1867 near Iowa City, Johnson Co., Iowa (his obituary gives the date as 1866) and died April 13, 1947 at Hastings, Adams Co., Nebraska.
