Margaret Opal Shimer, daughter of Albert Sanford Shimer and Olive Amanda Snyder, was born May 28, 1887 in Chesterfield, Madison Co., Indiana and died Feb. 10, 1963 in Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married 1) Frederick Ellsworth White May 18, 1908 at Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa and 2) Virgil Gartner Oct. 5, 1954.
