Joseph Brown Crabtree, son of William Crabtree and Elizabeth Carter Swingle, was born Aug. 24, 1845 in Union Co., Indiana and died July 20, 1903 at Conway, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Alice Jane Dawson Aug. 19, 1869 at Muscatine, Muscatine Co., Iowa.
