Clarence Lester Keith, son of George Keith and Mary Etta George, was born Jan. 27, 1881 near Hopkins, Nodaway Co., Missouri and died April 2, 1944 in New Market, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Mary Anderson Harkless Oct. 1, 1913 at Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Aug. 17, 1889 near London Mills, Fulton Co., Illinois, daughter of John Duncan Harkless and Kittie Maria Anderson, and died Jan. 15, 1970 in Page Co., Iowa. After the death of her 1st husband she married Curtis Ora Melvin June 7, 1950.
