He married Laura Belle Edwards April 19, 1885 in Taylor Co., Iowa. She was born Mar. 7, 1867 in Wayne Co., Iowa, daughter of Thomas Edwards and Henrietta Hollingsworth, and died Feb. 10, 1924 in Bedford Taylor Co., Iowa.
