Oliver was born and raised in Stoughton, WI and came to Waukon in 1908 after
his marriage to Eliza Stevens, who was born and raised in Waukon. During
their life together in Waukon and Allamakee County they raised eight
children, three daughters and five sons. Each of their sons in the U. S.
military during WWII and returned home safely.

Adrian Ernest 1917-2009 U. S. Army WWII
Frederick Ebner 1919- U. S. Army WWII
Charles John 1919-2007 U. S. Army WWII
Gretta Marie (Fitzsimmons) 1921-2001
Robert Eugene 1926- U. S. Navy WWII

They were God-fearing, Christian people and loved by many.
