Schuett and Christina Kistenmacher in Daenishenhagen, Holstein. She married her cousin Ludwig Schmidt in 1865. She was widowed young and bought a house in Davenport after her youngest son Richard received the family farm. Two of her brothers came to the U.S. as well.
