Susan Catherine Rommel, daughter of Henry Rommel and Anna Payne, was born Mar. 15, 1855 near Wataga, Knox Co., Illinois and died Sept. 22, 1937 near Clearfield, Taylor Co., Iowa. She married Cyrus Montgomery Curry Feb. 26, 1880 at Wataga, Knox Co., Illinois.
