Charles Edward Poore, son of James Harrison Poore and Harriet McCain, was born Dec. 7, 1874 near Blockton, Taylor Co., Iowa and died June 5, 1949 southeast of Bedford, Taylor Co., Iowa. He married Minnie Effie Polley Dec. 25, 1898 in Ringgold Co., Iowa. She was born Mar. 28, 1877 near Denver, Worth Co., Missouri, daughter of Edwin Franklin Polley and Diantha Jane Hoover, and died July 18, 1960. Her obituary gives her birth date as Mar. 28, 1876.
